Once you've successfully received a booking, a Captains Marine broker will establish contact with you to coordinate everything related to your charter.
What if I need to cancel a booking?
While we encourage honoring all bookings, we understand that sometimes cancellations are necessary. Recurring cancellations may result in the suspension of your listing.

How do I handle bookings and payments?
Clients receive a 50% deposit at booking and the balance at end of the charter.
Am I responsible for providing insurance?
Yes, boat owners are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for their vessels. We recommend discussing your specific needs with a marine insurance provider.
How quickly will I receive payment for bookings?
Payments are typically processed within 24 hours after the completion of a successful trip, with funds usually appearing in your account within 3-5 business days.
Can I set my own prices and availability?
Absolutely! You have full control over your pricing and calendar. You can adjust these at any time by contacting your Captains Marine rep.
Do I need to be a licensed captain to list my boat?
You don't need to own a captain's license to list your boat. But all charters must adhere to Bahamian law which requires a licensed captain to operate them.
What qualifications does my boat need to meet to be listed?
We welcome all qualified boats and yachts. Your vessel should be well-maintained, comply with all safety regulations, and have appropriate insurance coverage. Additionally, captains should possess the necessary certifications and licenses.
